The Squall combines a stable 49 cm hull with responsive handling in waves. Cockpit-side cutouts allow a close paddle entry, while an ergonomic seat supports comfortable paddling. It is designed to make fitness sessions fast and fun, with a balance of speed and stability.

The Squall 580 has the longer 104 cm cockpit, offering a stable platform for fitness paddling and responsive handling in waves. Nordic Kayaks describes the long cockpit as suitable for paddlers from 165 cm to approximately 200 cm and above.

The compact Squall 540 has a 99 cm cockpit—5 cm shorter than the 580’s—while retaining the same 49 cm hull width. It suits paddlers seeking a shorter fit with a balance of stability, speed and manoeuvrability.

An ergonomic seat, bottle holder and carbon side handles make the cockpit practical and comfortable. Front and rear carry handles help on land. Nordic Kayaks describes the Squall as easier to remount than many narrower surfskis.
